How to Add Items to Eat In VAT

Created by myAPPetite Support, Modified on Wed, 9 Aug, 2023 at 11:49 AM by myAPPetite Support

The way the till is configured the two buttons Eat In and Eat Out are based on price levels.

Price Level 1 = Eat Out = no % charge

Price Level 2 = Eat In = 20% charge applied

To apply the eat in 20% charge to new items you have added to the till, follow the below.

Once you are at the home screen go to programming > 2552 > Prices > PLU Price.

Once in the PLU Price section you must find the items that you wish to add the eat in charge.

e.g. PLU 5679 Cheeseburger.

Here you will see your PLU price levels specifically, level 1, which will be labelled as STD prices and price level 2 as EAT IN.

Get the price of the item and calculate the price with the added 20% charge and then insert the price into the EAT IN price level 2 1st price box.

In this example the item is 3.20 but with 20% added the items total for Eat In is 3.84.

Once this is done you need to exit the menu by pressing the X and then test the item(s) you have changed, input the standard item and then click the eat in button and input the same item.
