It's not often that cash drawers have issues, however if on this occasion you're encountering problems then these are the steps to take to troubleshoot them.
Check the connection from the cash drawer to the EPOS System, this is the cable that'll be coming from the cash drawer:
This will be connected in one of two ways, directly to the EPOS System through the 'Cash Drawer' port:
Or through the 'Cash Drawer' connection on the back of the printer:
Make sure these are fully pushed in and are making solid connection otherwise the cash drawer won't fire.
ICRTouch Configuration
If you're using ICRTouch then there is some setup involved for receipt printers, these can be located in:
Programming > All Prog > System Programming > Device Connection

If the cash drawer is connected through the receipt printer, then the connection should be set as (101) Receipt Printer or (15) Device on COM1. If the cash drawer is connected directly through the EPOS System, then you'll need to set it as the model of the system for example: Aures Yuno, J2 225 etc. You can usually find the model of your system on the base of the stand or by the ports for the cables on the back.
